A window at the front

Things didn't quite go to plan this weekend. I was hoping to get two of the big windows upstairs and installed. Instead we got one of the smaller front windows upstairs and installed. Better than nothing but not as fun.
Weatherboards done and window in

I still have to put the obscure film on

Window in and undercoat of paint on
Seeing the house in white, makes us both think about changing the house colour.
This window wont go in yet as we need it to get access to paint.

The street view.
Yep, the street still hasn't been finished and still seems months away. Sooo sick of it and I just want a pretty street already.

Happy Father's day to all the dad's out there. It was a brilliant day in Melbourne and we had breakfast out and walked along the river. It was like being away on holidays in the warm weather and change of scenery.

Father's day presents and cuddles in bed
Fingers crossed we get the windows in next weekend.

Cheers,
Nat

  1. You're still making progress even if it isn't as much as you'd hope to achieve. The house is looking great!

  2. Your house is really shaping up quite nicely! I saw your posts about the timber windows and I just love what you guys did with them. I'm sure the street and your house would look absolutely gorgeous together, once everything is done. Kudos to you guys and thanks for sharing!
